I Dont Like The Sound Of This Electrified Tf Thing

<div class="IPBDescription">ETF farming??</div> Will it be possible to have electrified TF farms ?? With balancing done on marine structure costs in 1.1q... will the res cost be too high to do this?

From what I read so far in the beta forums is that ETF's are great defense structures. Plus with there 30 damage shots and range....they make bacon out of sculks and anything near it....
I ask this because turret farms was an issue back then.....so will this be a problem? Say if they drop 3 ETF's in a hive or something??

    You need to upgrade st and you need to build the TF/RT.

    I do believe they shall be able to overcome balence issues.


    It seems to me they have done a great job thus far.

    Electrified stuff isn't going to be much of a problem once the tech tree is unlocked again.

    if they can afford to drop 3 etfs in 1 spawn at a cost fo 105 res u deserve to lose that hive . as long as they dont get both hives the gorge bile bomb can take out etfs and erts with ease. even multiple gorges and heal sprayn skulks chompin it can be effective and dont forget good ol lerk spikes .

    I dont know how the maps will be but it seems like with electric tfs, and 1.04 ns_eclipse, you could make a huge farm of elec tf near the doors at marine start and the aliens would not be able to get in even with 3 hives.

    While i trust in the devs...beta testing isnt' gonna show what the public servers will be like.

    Personally I think they need to add new people to the beta with each new version. Why? Kinda like inbreeding...you gotta add new genes to the pool or yer gonna get crap.

    If they throw in 5%-10% more people each time they get a new "major" version (i.e. not one little tweak) it will help to throw in new ideas and new ways of thinking.
