Photoshop Error

I'm making a new MT sprite, but Photoshop is giving me this error.
I'm trying to index the colors (make them 256) and i'm using the System (Windows) pallette. It changes it fine, but when i try to save it gives this error:
"Could not save C:\motion2_009.bmp because of a problem with the file-format module interface."
It doesn't work on motion2_009.bmp or on motion2_008.bmp, and it needs to be one of those two. I need those because i need the correct pallete for the rest of them. Does anyone know how to fix this, or any alternatives?
