    I don't even play MTG. I have some friends who do, but more importantly is that there is a text file on wizards.com that lists every card ever made. I simply counted every card that had coin flipping in it.

    Have fun.

    Banding is old-school? I started playing at Unlimiteds. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    These are so great. A fantastic tribute to what's probably the greatest game of the century (no, I don't mean NS).

    So, Flayra plays Magic?

    The only bad thing about Magic is the Money-Cow system of illegalizing older cards with each set.

    Highly annoying. But if the people you play with don't care, all good <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo-->

    n00bs!
    I started playing during the end of Arabian Nights! MUAHAHAHA!
    I quit it though when they started making cards that were the same as earlier ones, just STRONGER.
    It annoyed me to find a 5/4 monster had been revamped into a 6/4 monster with EXACTLY the same cost and even the name was 90% the same.
    So I quit after...5th edition was it? I got a WHOLE bunch of originals from arabian/legends/whatnot still in the attic and THE most destructive red/white deck (aprox 320 cards) there is. I have played with it and won a LOT (if only by outlasting opposition)!
    Flayra u b 4 n00b <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Don't even make me <b>think</b> of White decks. They make me ill.

    I only play Black just so I can get more 'Protection from White' annoyances.

    Haeeeeeet White.

    One of the earliest coin-flipping cards in MTG was the Bottle of Suleimon, which involved sometimes a whole lot of coin flipping, if I can remember correctly, until both people got the same result. Or am I combining 2 of the early card abilities into one? --I am, bottle of Suleimon had a coinflip for the outcome, but there is another card I cant find right now that had both players flipping coins and determining dmg until they came up with the same result, both were in the very early editions.

    I still love all the cards, great work people

    Bottle of suleiman was like..flip a coin, you win == 5/5 flying creature, you lose == take 5 damage.

    The Tilted T ran from ... Revised Edition through ... hmm ... anyone remember?

    But Revised ALSO had the year on it, I think.

    I bought two packs of Fallen Empires, and hated the set.

    (A friend had a "Theather Thallid" deck that I vaguely remember)

    My deck was black/artifact and built around a meekstone.

  • UnderDOGUnderDOG Join Date: 2003-04-05 Member: 15221Members
    the black decks owned

    i remember have a card that was a 2/2 creature, but with a specail abilty: tap, X: deal target critter or player X damage.

    it owned, with just 5 lands, you could win in 4 turns
