the same thing happened to me in a cs server d0obie.. unfortunetly if u did absolutly nothing except get him **** and didn't offend anyone else in any way it is considered admin abuse... but were all just a chip in one big bag, aka we have no say in this, if u think this is gonna help u get un-banned, through my experince it kept me banend for good but ur just proving your point. nothing wrong with that (and this is why no admin should ever give the last ban to 1 admin, becuae if they have a bad day they go on a banning spree on anyone who stands in there way) i also agree with doobie by Grendel doing this he is just slowing down the 1.1 testing process (hides from devs)
Being an avid gamer myself and visiting muds and such that generally have small communities I have seen things like this come up now and then. Most...not ALL of the time...there ends up being more reasons beyond what the poster first posted, facts that the public is "ignorant of" as one poster said. Most of the time the person banning will come here to this post and tell everyone exactly what they did to warrant such and such discipline. This usually embarrasses the poster and they turn it into a flame war.
With the inital post not really stating the circumstances or joke that they got banned over, I imagine this is probably the case. I could be wrong and hold no assumptions or grief toward anyone involved, I'm just trying to lay out the facts before everything starts getting all messy so perhaps it won't NEED mod/dev/admin attention? I suggest it would be better brought up to the "perpetrator" of the crime so to speak instead of doing what so many posters tend to do and hang your dirty laundry where everyone can smell it.
If I sounded rude, I didn't really mean it, I just like to use witty analogies (and bad spellilng)

There are many vets who are much better qualified in terms of skill, knowledge, and more importantly, maturity. I simply do not understand how Flayra can sit there and watch Grendel ban one vet after another. Does anyone reading this post actually think that Vets are going to respond well to this? Perhaps he's forgotten this is a game, not the military, and not a boarding school.

Let it be known that leading a PT (or Vet, in this case) team does NOT require good gameplay skills. It requires good LEADERSHIP skills, and a knack for getting people to get the job done.
That said, the general forum is NO place to discuss these things.
This is Flayra's mod, and if he's delegated command of the Vets to Gren, that's the END of it. The populace of this board has no say. That's just the way it is.
