Agp Bus Question

Yes. You need an 8x AGP motherboard to take advantage of any 8x AGP video component. Though honestly you won't see *too* much of a performance gain from just that... more from upgrading your board (and the integral bus), any CPU and RAM upgrades you may choose to do at the same time.
