cos everytime the map changes my sounds hell static after
the music sounds all static i mean not the sounds.. and its really annoying and i was just wondering if i could get rid of the music.

Transmission

You can remove the ns ambience music by deleting the files in you Half-Life/NS/music folder.

If you just put an mp3 file in there or whatever file extension it had and renamed it to that embience thing, would it play that new sound file?

i dont actually know anything about anything with these games.. cept for how to play.. if that makes sense..

Assuming you're using the default installion folder, and installing to the "C" drive:

C:\SIERRA\Half-Life\ns\music

Copy any mp3s you want to listen to in-game into that folder. They will randomly play. Just try not pick anything TOO distracting, or you might miss that skulk until it's too late.
