<div class="IPBDescription">surviving a harddrive crash...</div> After my harddrive crash and the total loss of all significant progress on ns_containment, i decided to give it another go, using a theme blend between ns_containment and the old shaft

    thats a real bummer , HD crash is the worst , i got one bout a year ago , lost all my work, felt horrible <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo-->
    The best thing to do is get back to work quick , get your mind working on a new project to forget the tragedy! I like those hallway shots , specialy 1 & 4 . In the second shot i would maybe move the wires , they always look dodgy and flat when you are near or under them, buts thats just my opinion <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo--> Later!

    Yo, quite ok and individual looking. And the quality is quite right. I don't like 1024x768 pixel images of 700KB very much <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Lookin very nice. Texturing is top-notch.

    My only complaint would be that in those last two screenies there is a lot of open floor-space. Maybe you could add a little variety by raising those supports that run though the floor a couple units. Also it looks like those would be skulk slaughting grounds. Maybe a little cover lieing around?

    A broken panel or two wouldn't go astray either. You could also fiddle with your lights.rad to make those blue screens glow a little.

    What about some height variation in those hallways? All your hallways have a very flat feeling. Also what about extruding some little pockets on the sides of your hallways. Its always nice as a marine or a sulk to pop into a little area for cover. The texturing is nice but your lighting could be a little more consistent. There are some sections where you have a bright blue strip or glowing monitor, but the surrounding area is completly black. Or there is a orange light strip but the area around it isnt orange, its white. Maybe you could also put in some spotlights to have some cool shadows. Right now it looks very ambiently light. I do like the hallway with the pipe running along the cieling, looks like a cool nook for a sulk to wait to ambush someone. Maybe you could add some particles into the hallway with the 3 pipes running along the right side to add to the ambience. Would be cool if you setup a trigger_random and have it linked to multiple steam particles go off at different times.
