Big names with small prices?
Hi All,

I have to rent a decent server for the company I work for, and being an NS fan, I wanted to know if any of you have had any good experiences with some dedicated server hosting companies. I definitely want something either in the USA or Canada.

The ones I came across in a short period of time that I am looking at are the following:

www.netnation.ca
www.rackshack.net <-- super incredible pricing for a dedicated server with bucketloads of bandwidth that make me suspicious.
www.atjeu.com

Thanks.

Natural-selection.org is hosted on a dedicated Rackshack.net server. We have gone through 5 hosts at NS, and these guys are the tops. NOw where was CJM when we needed a discount!? D:

You could use rackshack.net then (all linux though). I'm also sort of poking around on this right now, and looking at serverbeach.com, as they are all windows based dedicated boxes with decent bandwidth plans.

I'm basically looking for a Dual Xeon system to use for a server... I expect to have 2000+ users hit the system on a given day...

DO you think it could handle it?

Mayberry Games hosts all their servers at RackShack. Although Mayberry recent merged with Kustom Kettle. All the former Mayberry servers remain at RackShack, though I don't know about the Kustom Kettle servers.

I've seen nothing but good things from RackShack. They have insane bandwidth (I never have problems maxing out my connection at 350KB/s from a RackShack hosted server), and high reliability. I myself have even considered started up a server hosting company using RackShack servers. If only I had the starting capital
