<div class="IPBDescription">Marine start</div> Hey just need some opinions/tips for the marine start. How big is yours? How big should it be? Does mine look big enough? Thanks in advance.

    That one looks a bit on the tiny side... just my opinion though. Aside from a kind of awkward placement of the CC it looks like it would do well just be being expanded. My suggestion would be to expand the raised area in both directions, but leave the distance to that door the same. Other than that it looks good.

    I like it, it gives MS kind of a cozy feeling without being to small, alltough If a comm spammed turrets it might get a little hard to walk. Maby a small size increase wouldnt hurt.

    My idea was to keep it minimal. I don't want to discourage turret use, but I don't want them spammed. Looking at it again it's rather perfect room, but I think I'll extend the raised part. So how is the comm chair placement? Most people seem to like it in the corner of the room but I wanted the marines to be able to walk behind it also. I'm gonna give it another go but otherwise I think it's done.

    I tested several build orders, it seems to fit just fine altough a little cramped compared to hera. But how much of hera do you really use anyway?

    My only problem with the comm placement is that as it is it looks like skulks can wallclimb from the lower level corner and much on the chair while being blocked from any turret fire on the upper level. Also that corner would be hard to protect with mines. My suggestion is to expand the raised area a little and push the chair away from the corner, but still leave room on both side for marines to move around.

    It looks a little on the dark side. I would brighten it up a bit, or use a higher env_gamma setting. Also, look into using light overlays.
