Autobuild?
I was playing on a server where the opposing marine commander would place structures and they would build themselves. All the aliens got really pi$$ed off because we killed everyone but commander, but he build an observatory in some corner of the map and activated a distress beacon. When we asked him how he was making his structures build themselves, he said that the process is described in the Ns_castlewars readme. Since i dont have that readme, i was wondering if anyone can confirm this.

but with sv_cheats on.. and i think the command is 'bigdig' ... when a comm puts a structure down, it builds immediately.
i'd hate to accuse anyone of cheating though, so i'll see if i can find it.
Edit: i dunno what to say.. went around, downloaded 2 versions of ns_castlewars, and didn't get a readme file.
muhaha he fooled 2 idiots.
that was just
sv_cheats 1
bigdig
spawnhive
giveres
killall
...
are nice too.
I remember I was com onetime on bast and a fade kept opening n closing the door to engine hive making him stay there hehe.So that being said that tip or use can be very useful at times others it is not.
If the commanders view is low enough, he may build from the com chair using the "use" button. In castlewars the huge walls have ledges on them. The highest ledge on either side is buildable from the comm chair.
But like I said, this will work in any map, just find a spot that is high enough.
The commander just centers his screen to light the object up in a vector equivalent to if he had a crosshair. Hold use and it's built.
On most ververs you get kicked for builing outside game area.
