What programs will support ns servers?

Anything that supports Half-Life should support NS, just like any other mod, I presume.

ASE's support for mods comes from their end far as I know.  Expect a new filter for NS a few days after release.

Bah, SuperIP is the only real client you'll ever need to use in your life... I don't see why more people don't use it. It's quick, painless, and above-all, FREE.

You would have to install it with mIRC first, but who doesn't use mIRC? After the initial install, you can set it to run from your desktop just like ASE or LagSpy.

ASE does work with NS, when i go search after a custom mod, i somtimes stumble upon a NS server <!--emo&:p--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'><!--endemo-->

its a very good prog without any evil spyware like gamespy has in it's program. However the executable that is used for  server refreshes can't handle loads of servers.

i dont play online.  i used to use gamespy a year ago...  i hear that all-seeing eye is the best from most of my friends.

I tried out ASE for a few weeks. It was quicker than anything I've ever seen, but I prefer SuperIP as I'm always idling in IRC anyhow... quick access to my favorite servers, and it posts a HLIP link to friends in the channel that might want to join me for some fragging.

ASE is great. It's the only program I use. And since this mod is getting so much hype, expect a filter THE DAY ns is released.

Actually, most of hte time if a new game or mod is out, the ASE filter is out <b>WITHIN HOURS</b> of the mods release.
