<div class="IPBDescription">Setting up VALVE HAMMER to run map</div> i tried to set up valve hammer porperly for ns
i ahd the ns.fgd and stuff linked in options
but when i tried to run a map it doesnt find it on teh server
it opened hl but...
the map didnt load

so...
can u write down waht i need in the blanks for the options part?

tell me waht i need for "Game Configuations" and "Build Programs" in options to run ns!!! pelase?

and about wads...
can i use any wad file and does it have to be in the ns folder?

how do u create ur own wads too?
***and if u know the defualt maps in ns were made just with valve hammer?*** or did they use expensive modling programs like 3d studios max?

    All of the default maps were made using valve hammer. Hammer and Quark are basically the best tools around for making maps for NS. The different between them is more a matter of personal perferance than which is better. I use Quark personally so I couldn't answer your questions about Hammer. As far as wads go you can use any wads you want as long as you're not stealing it or anything. But any wads that didn't come with NS, compile the textures into you bsp ( -wadinclude, that's a little complex). There is one thing, make sure you don't have a dash in your map name ( i.e. ns_test-1 ) because HL doesn't like that and will say "map not found on server".
