1.1 Offensive Chamber Idea

I would just like to point out that this a brilliant idea, and the most important statement that I would like to make is that this variety would give marines the encouragement that they need to use the siege. Playtesters and veterans have complained about siege disappearing and never being used but think about it if an O chamber kept shooting spores at your area, you can't pass that area, especially with skulks backing them up. Not to mention, if the O chamber spit out umbra at itself and nearby structures/lifeforms, this would add a new dimension to the game with O chambers. If the siege is not being used, this would certainly encourage the marines to use it at the 1.1 cheap resource cost.

    Point being that HA could be used instead of a siege to deal with an Umbra Chamber.

    I miss siege turrets.

    Umbra chambers are way too powerful. Having umbra at hive one i a definitely no-no. I like everything xcept the umbra chamber.

    It is a great idea, i hope it gets into 1.2

    Now i am all for giving the aliens more choices and upgrade paths but:

    The problem is that it makes a DMS like strat all over again,


    Umbra on your oc and hive is just to good to pass up.... so D first

    SC already gives Scent of fear, so that parasiting OC would not even be used


    (This is all just random things I find wrong with the perceived abilities of the different chambers and that the aliens will grow fond of a certain build order that flarya is so desperately trying to get away from)

    in other words.... to much time to balance to make in into 1.1
