The Truth About Bunnyhopping

Just so you guys know bunnyhopping was when you could jump again before you hit the grouind b/c you where turning. In HL that ment that you were gaining massive amounts of speed, but in NS you dont even in 1.04 there is a cap on how fast you can move b/c of jump that was put into HL back in 1.1.0.8. So please dont complain about bunny hopping but it does not exist to a large extent anymore. Yes the aliens can jump contantly and the marines have a speed cap that slows them down when they hit the ground(1.1s), but they aren't bunnyhopping its just plain old jumping.

Bunnyhopping is still as rife now as it ever has been.

It appears that you're trying to do something along the lines of denying the holocaust.

Bunnyhopping still exists

there's a speed cap

it doesn't hurt gameplay with that speedcap (IMO)

I feel it does. It's infuriating as a skulk to rush a marine only to have them jump over you time and time again. It's infuriating because of ANY stretch of realism this wouldn't happen. This is why i'm glad they're implementing the anti-bhopping code in 1.1

HAY GUYS LET'S MAKE ANOTHER RETARDED BHOP THREAD!
WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Die.
Diediediediediediedie.

What made you think this was necessary? Or even worth the ten calories expended on keystrokes and mouse movements necessary to post it? I hope the government has been working on a solar power satellite that beams electricty back to earth in microwave form and they screw up and accidentally cook you where you sit, you miserable butterbeast.

Christ, keep it civil, Read this thread and think about what you're posting.

In short, if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything.

No.
This needs to be locked and I'm doing my part to turn it into a ridiculous dance of virulent idiocy so a mod (most likely the matronly Talesin) is forced to lock it.

It's just too stupid to live.

But if you continue in that way, you might find yourself banned or something. Which, i think you'd find, would suck.

If i were you, act a bit more maturely and just don't say anything. You're digging your own grave.

A rine that jumps over a skulk is just a good player, not a bunnyhopper.

And Jumping over an skulk is still possible in 1.1 (I think) the only thing I see is outrunning a Skulk, but this is easy to counter: learn Bhop.

I luv Bhopping, in 1.1 I'll play Alien only

kavasa, you're out of line. You're correct, but you're out of line. Please take a more civil approach in the future.

Bunnyhopping has been discussed to death, and a decision has already been made regarding it, NS, and specifically NS 1.1. Therefore, this topic is unnecessary.
