    Chaos Gate was amazing. And I heard about Fire Warrior a long time ago; it's not that new.

    Umm, did you never play the 3DO game Space Hulk, or the followup Vengeance of the Blood Angels? Fantastic games (that amazingly look like they influenced NS, but Flay had never heard of them when we asked, the nub).

    Space hulk was great but chaos gate was better imo. the music of Chaos Gate (Gregorian songs with creepy tunes) was absolutely amazing, even if it is very low quality.

    The original Space Hulk was a work of art. Pretty, pretty graphics, speech and all that goodness, and it ran smoothly on my 386SX with only 2mb of memory. I remember it being unbelievably hard and cruel towards the player, though, but damn fun anyway.

    Rites of War was OK as well. Not brilliant but decent.

    Was Chaos Gate the Laser Squad/X-Com type game ? Might see if I can find it anywhere, I had thought it sucked monkey balls but it looks like i'm wrong from what you guys are saying.

    Space Hulk has always stuck in my mind for one reason. The Cutscene where the genestealers start bursting through the vents on the right of the screen and get torn apart by terminators on the left. So much blood. I love it.

    I absolutely loved the Spacehulk Series. It's what got me interested in WH40K in the first place. Pretty cool stuff.

    One of my first thoughts on seeing NS about 10 months ago was that it looked heavily influenced by SpaceHulk: Blood Angels, but with sexy graphics and online play.

    This is a good thing and should be taken as a compliment, because I loved that game.

    whenever i see this title, i think it says "whoa, 40k fps".

    because i dont have warhammer on the brain, i immediately think of some uber gfx card that give 40,000 frames per second, and i look inside for a link to buy it (or d/l for my xbox)

    40k is fun. I have a Tau army. I think my friend's Armoured Company is going to totally overrun my lines, though. I don't have enough Broadsides to punch through the armor.

    WH40K pwnz j00.

    If you can find some mature people to play against. If you go into a GW store it will be all 12-year-olds, but there are grown men who play 40k (hence the grand tournaments).

    I used to collect Ultramarines (yes, the most disliked, most collected army of them all [apart from necrons, but they are considered too beardy to use by general consensus]).

    Now I just started a Tau army. I have my leader, (I'm calling him Shas'O P'upu until I can think of a real name <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo--> ) and 24 fire warriors. Next stop, krootville. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Chaos Gate ruled. I'm not into WH40K but Chaos Gate just was awesome. I liked it because it was human v human. Once you get those other races and species and sides or whatever in, it just gets to be a mishmash. I hope there's anothing just Chaos vs. Space Marines game, it's fun that way. And the Heavy Bolter rocks.
