Can't Get A List Of Servers

<div class="IPBDescription">what the title says</div> Just got half-life working again (the problem was I hadn't defragged in 6 months...), only to find that now NS won't work!
It gets as far as the "Logging on to Valve" bit, but no servers come up on the list!
It is possible that all of the valve servers are down at the same time, but pretty unlikely. To me, it looked like my connection had cut off, but I checked and, no, its fine.
Any suggestions?
