Lockup On Server Exit.

My problem seems to be linked with NS because my other mods worked fine before I installed it. Whats happening is when I press escape to exit a server my screen blinks, then goes compleatly black and the keyboard and mouse stop responding. Theres nothing I can do except hardboot my computer to get out of it. If any of you have had a similar problem or have a fix, tip, or suggestion please let me know.

System Specs:
Win2k
2.4gig processor
512mb of ram
Radeon 9700 pro graphics card
soundblaster audigy gamer sound card
(If you need any other specs jsut let me know and I will post asap.)

Now some more Qs:
1) Does this happen in all mods (and vanilla HL)?
2) Did you change ANYTHING else as of late? (drivers, programs that are running, hardware, ANYTHING!)

See, I really don't think NS could do this (infact I am nearly positive), it simply enugh does not have that much effect on anything.


wait a sec, press escape and things bork? you have tried cntrl alt del yes? (if not, do so)
next time instead of hitting escape simply pull down the console and type exit (or quit your choice <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->) and see what happens <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo--> (it actualy sounds like a standard HL problem).
