    Kindly in the future when posting a link to an EXECUTABLE FILE, accurately describe it, what it does, and so forth. These kinds of links are used in many places to perpetuate viral/trojan infection, and while people should scan ANY downloaded exe before running it, it'd be good to know what this one actually DOES.

    Er.. "Sadako"? And yes, that'd fall under the realm of 'annoyware' if it's a latent thread. Programs are supposed to be well-behaved... I'm certain that very few (if anyone) would want a silent program running in the background waiting to pop up at you.

    Heck, if they did they'd just intentionally go to an infinite-spawn popunder/over/around website and let their computer swallow its own tongue for a while.

    It was a scare-program. Five mintues or so after downloading and running it, something resembling Sadako would likely pop onto your screen in an effort to scare the living bejeezus out of you. I've seen a number of Flash animations that did the same, though usually including quiet music to get you to turn up your speakers before kicking you in the head with a top-volume scream, and possibly footage of a corpse or some other image that would be likely to make you jump.

    I'm halfway considering burninating the rest of the link, rather than just the host, given that it COULD be infected with a virus and/or trojan.

    Posting EXE links is less than great here, guys. If it gets to be a common occurrence I'm going to have to start nuking on sight, as it's certain that at least a few would be from non-well-intentioned sources, or a member who might not have checked the download thoroughly.
