Why Is The 1.1 Resource Model A Secret?

<div class="IPBDescription">Seems to be the only secret...</div> I've done searches, I've read beta forum posts and the changelog, but I still don't know how the Khaara resource model works in v1.1.
It seems that this is the only "secret" in v1.1. The changelogs are pretty explicit about all the other changes in general, so why not this?
Did I miss an official explanation somewhere? All I've seen is a speculation.
In addition, the posts by the PTs and vets are very vague. Even Flayra's post on the matter was very vague.
Is there a reason why this is so hush-hush? Is there some unwritten rule that the resource model is not to revealed until v1.1 final? It's just strange, since they've been so forthcoming about just about everything else...

Every alien gets equal resources. Kills give 1-3 resources (by chance). That's it.
There was a gorge sucking res ability in a previous build, but it has been removed.
The aliens and the rines get res from res towers, the res income is based on the number of towers, and the res income from each tower is based on somekind of mathematical equation.

i wish res went like that right now res is slow as hell.
theres a delay for 90 seconds before the res tower starts pumpin res. So if u lose that res before it pumps it was a waste. Marines can electrify there res . Aliens can drop Ocs to protect 1 res but then they have to wait for the res to start pumpin res and try to repeat this process....
Not really because Flayra doesn't like aliens but more because he wants to make a team think wether to expand or hold on to the rts since they will be more precious if they don't give res for 2 mins. Also it limits the marines' ability to relocate.

it is 15 res per minute then divided amongst the # of alien players. Which hopefully flay will add in my equation to fix this so that alien team size doesnt affect the rate of which aliens get res, before 1.1 is released. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

No no no, it's just 'n' now, the +1 that both teams orginally got was removed because of res for kills.

But this basically sounds like mostly the same system as before. It directly contradicts the changelog, which said more gorges = faster expansion. Heck, it sounds even worse than 1.04, because there is no overflow and no gorge bias. It sounds like it will take FOREVER to accumulate res as Khaara now.
Something just doesn't seem right...
I hate to ask, but of the 4 Vets that have responded are any of you guys in the Beta?
More gorges = viable cause instead of a gorge hording 2 additional shares of the given res they all get the same. IE two gorges takes the same amount of res as if they were two skulks. Advantage is they can build faster if they stick together.
And most common response has been 15 res/minute per RT for both teams. So I'll go with that.

Anybody with the Group: Veteren has the beta, same with Group: Playtester.
Yes, a hive one onos is possible. Dangerous, and vunerable, it's typically not as useful as tempgorgeing and dropping a second hive or two.
Res seems to come quick enough. You just get a few gorges in the begining, drop some rts, wait a little bit for the rts to start pumping, then you go to town. But, yeah, the system is still getting tweaked.
Part of the reason (as I see it anyway, ask Flayra for the definitive reason <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo--> ) for the beta forum was that people were complaining about the lack of openess/information re: the development of 1.1.
It also gaves us something to talk/discuss about whilst 1.1 is being developed as the forums prior to the beta forum being created were IMO getting a bit stale.
