like every single other mod for HL ever...

but, you never know. if something gets hugely popular, it may get a retail version. not likely though; DoD doesnt have one. most mods never make it past mod stage, which is fine with me.

That box art was just made by a guy with too much free time. It shows how much of a cult- I mean following we have. He did completly by himself and right now he is in no way connected to the dev team other than being a forum memeber, but it would be good thing if the toke him on for some 2d stuff if they need it. (not to say we should dethrone our current 2d artist, the more the merrier)

they actually must not charge money for their mod unless
they make a very specific deal with Valve

Which is exactly what CS ended up doing

I'm sure that Natural Selection will stay for free at least some of the first versions. As the others said, you never know what will come but my boxart is just some sort of fan-art and it didn't have any official connection to Natural Selection (Although it must be a great feeling to see his own box in the shelves ).

Yeah, NS will be free upon release. It won't be available for purchase, as far as I know, as neither Valve nor anyone else has contacted Flayra about doing a retail version (as far as I know).

It -will- be available for download, for free, sometime within the next few months. Possibly only one, but I'm not going to guarantee that.

NS possibly out in a month!

SWEET!

Glad to see your so selfless about this flayra, and not like one of those people that actually makes games for money, instead of for the love of games.
