Mines Of The Floor/beam

I was just curious, when placing mines on the floor and celing in 2.0, will the beam actually show now, or is it still invisible?

Also, will mines still blow up or dissapere by them selves when on uneven or other brushes?

No beams what so ever I believe, and I believe things are the same as 1.04 for your 2nd question (Meaning they never did blow up, or I totally misunderstand your question).

No beams anymore. So creating a lasershow when boredom strikes marine spawn is no longer an option. Come kill my hive instead if you can!

So, there are not even beams that go horizontal?

They were never invisible, they simply didn't exist. In 1.04, mines placed in a floor or ceiling are proximity mines.

This is understood; however, my question is now, are horizontal beams now gone aswell? Someone mentioned that there are no beams whatsoever from mines now.

Sometimes, when placing a mine down it will blow up for no apparent reason--probably because it's near another entity, or just an odd orientation of placement--not sure, but they blow up. Also, sometimes when you place mines down on the ground, or on entities they sometimes stay, and they sometimes dissapere.

In 1.04, I've seen mines blow up when a door closes on them but never for no apparent reason. I've seen them blow up for no apparent reason in 1.03, but I thought that problem was fixed in 1.04.

They blow up sometimes in Eclipse when you put them around the main RT; and on some ramps in other maps.
