Editing Sprites

<div class="IPBDescription">How do I do it?</div> How do I edit sprites? I want to change the MiniMaps around for some ideas I've had... plus I want to do some sprite artwork, but I can't figure out how to edit the sprites? I've got photoshop, but it don't wanna open it..... Ne ideas?

At some point I'll convince Coil to change the title of Modelling 101 to make it clearer that it covers sprites. In the meantime, the tools you'll need (and some tuts) can be found in the sprites section of the 101 links.

Sprite View lets you export the sprite as a .bmp (or a sequence of bmps if it's an animated sprite), and Sprite Wizard is a very easy to use compiler.
