I hope humanity never forgets what caused this.
All it takes for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing.
Evil exists. We cannot turn a blind eye toward it in hopes of preserving a false peace. Thats not to say we should create it for the sake of fighting it, ala McCarthy.
Oh well. Its late, and I was struck by these images and thought I'd share.

it's not just a concern that'll get an "oh, that's sad".
most likely not direct enough in effect that you cry.
it's just sad.
there aren't that many things that you can just think about that'll make you just... <i>sigh</i> ... and want to forget.
edit: it's not bad to remember.. but it's kinda depressing.
edit2: no.. it's damn depressing.
if we turn a blind eye to the events that happened, we are just inviting them to happen again.
we have to learn from our mistakes, and that means remebering, however painful it may be.
it also a sign of respect to those more closely affected by it than ourselves
