During a game on certain maps (ns_nancy is one), for no reason at all my mouse will start not responding and the result is me strafing around unable to aim. I have the latest mouse drivers, and I don't have mouse filter on. I've tried it on and off and it doesnt make a difference. This doesn't happen in any other HL mods, anyone have any ideas?

    I have the same problem. <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo-->
    But I'm guessin it's the mouse because I have the same mouse you have.

    I tried updating the software for it months ago but it still didn't work.

    So I'm guessing that optical mouse don't work for games.

    Same problem here, but I have a Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer.
    I guess it's because my mouse gets old...

    I also have an Intellimouse Explorer, I don't get any lag with mouse movement, but if you use the "Use custom buttons for different programs" or whatever it is, the button presses will lag by anywhere from 1-10 seconds.. the solution to that is to just bind things to mouse4 and mouse5

    you need to right click whatever you start NS with, go to Compatability, and click run in compatiability mode of windows 98 (this is with windows xp)
