oh hell yeah!
Me and me friends joined in with a buncha people at our school to create...the Office Chair Joousting Tournaments!

Things required

Office chair (any type, has to have wheels)
Broom/mop
A friend who can push you.

Rules
A friend pushes you while you are on the office chair, going down a long hallway. You have the back of the chair facing front. You hold the broom by the top, so that the bushy end is sticking strait in front of you. The other dude at the other end of the hallway is doing the same. At one point in the hall, the friends let go of the chair, sending you out of controll at the other person. First person knocked off...looses. Its really fun, and none of us have been hurt yet...except a broom nettle thingy going into my arm...didnt hurt.

I'm just trying to imagine this being played at work and the boss coming in to see some progress...

No matter, that hot chick assistant will probably think you're cool after playing this.

Oh man, the breakroom is going to be a huge battleground by the end of next week!!

Jack-**** is stupid, it's just a bunch of idiots that run around doing things that aren't even funny, they just do it for the Money, oh and movie was SO bad, what a waste of my time. This is fun, and it's a sport.

I recommend bike helmets. Or playing on rugs. We tried that on a marble hallway.. OUCH! (we tried this many years ago, using just the handles as jousting sticks)

    Haha sounds like fun.
My cousin used to work in a hospital as a temp cleaner
but on Friday evenings they used to have "Cake Night".
Because it was a fairly isolated part of the hospital they
could do as they pleased as long as the cleaning was done.
So when cake night rolled around they turn it in turns to buy
a nice big cake, which would be shared out. And the rest
of the shift would be spent racing around the nice flat hospital
floors on office chairs. It sounded like great fun, and the propect of
    cake is always nice.

Another fun thing to do is take matresses, and ride them down long stairways.

    The fun days...

I would try that if I had an empty school/office and two office chairs. I don't, so I continue to do nothing.

We do that all the time in school! Since I'm in sixth year we get free periods and we do it during those times. Except we don't need someone to push us, we use the wall. One of the office chairs is missing a castor and that causes massive trouble for whoever has it. I'm surprised we haven't been busted for it yet because we do it in a massive room surrounded my large windows. Great fun! (we don't use the brushy end, we use the solid side)

The only proper way to move around on a swivel chair is scooting backwards, or pushing off walls. Thus is the way of the Swivel Warrior. Anyone play the Mac-game "Harry the Handsome Executive"? Now THAT was a game that honored the ancient art of the swivel! Linky-linky!

The only thing about our chairs are that they have no backs. That means that if you get knocked off the chair keeps going. lol.

bought it, and beat it. The fact you can make your own levels is a lot of fun. It still **** me off when they took away all of my ammo for the final fight. I had hoarded it for the entire game!

Heh, never beat it. Shame on me, but there was some fiendishly tough part I couldn't get through. Now my Mac won't start anymore, needs a new battery I suspect. Still, the game inspired me. Swivel chairs are SO much fun. Can wait for the EV Nova port.

I should try this at my highschool... then get hauled off campus by the dean.

Give it a shot! We do it in a highly visible room surrounded by windows and still haven't got busted for it.

Hehe, we used to do that sort of thing in high school in the student center, which had a nice flat floor. The danger of having the dean's office right next door just made the game more fun.

We'd also go to the airport at night and ride the carts around in the parking lot. Now THAT was fun.... you can get a cart up to some pretty high speeds if you're pushing it over a distance of about half a block.
  • GadzukoGadzuko Join Date: 2002-12-26 Member: 11556Members, Constellation
Shopping cart jousting in grocery store parking lots is awesome. It's even better when done at 1 AM... the only problem is that it's kinda impossible to get knocked out of a cart so you just end up thwacking each other with whatever long pointy object you're jousting with, and giving someone else a turn.

Okay, so I didn't say it was high entertainment. But when you're in college, everything is fun.
