it was a valiant effort but I'm afraid that the skulkraces are going to be definetly going to be postponed until after the release of 2.0, and possibly cancelled

1) most people are getting excited about 2.0 and aren't thinking about the races

2)<span style='font-size:14pt;line-height:100%'><span style='color:green'>LACK OF TEAMS! <--the silent killer of the races</span></span>

3) with 2.0 we also get hltv so if and when the skulkraces take place we can have some sweet demo's of the action recorded.

4) And with 2.0 we get uber cool skulk model rotation! <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

I would like to thank Comprox for letting me take over the races and continuing to do so when he got back, I've got a legal pad full of notes on teams and random stuff about these races that gets shelved now, and the teams that signed up, hopefully a month or two after the releases we can try again.

    Actually like you, I'm interested in how improved the skulkrace would be with 2.0, rather than forgetting about the race.

    4) Because of the skulk model rotation it will look way better on 3rd person chase cam. Right now wallrunning skulks look horribly odd (no less than Ollj's hovaring scorpian model)

    Not offhand, skulkraces seem the most efficient way to do such a thing, becuase it can be the most hassle free...

    i thought the races where a good idea , as there in the US i couldnt join , but the BlueYonder vets my have a skulk/jp or lerk race soon , seems like good fun.

    Today is the day that I start asking around to see if the skulkraces can once again get official NS team blessings and I start scouting new routes due to the new maps etc etc etc
