Wonid Script?

Is it possible for anyone to make a wonid script. Something that you can assign names to wonid's and when they join the server using that wonid you get told about it?

Sure, thats possible. You just need to associate names with WONids in a table somewhere and you make something that checks if a wonID of a connecting player ='s one of the ids in your table.

That said, I have no idea how to do it. There is some sort of server side metamod plugin that uses an online database of cheaters (which I think is absolutely horrid).

how do you actually add firends and hackers to the cl so you can identify smurfs and hackers smurfing etc....

Just go to File -> Edit custom.cfg

Ah.. so thats what custom.cfg does? I've never been able to get it to do anything

i found out how to work it - when in game type cladd <wonid> <names/comment>

i don't use it for cheaters i use it to log ppl i know etc and makes sure i don't get smurfed - i will later on do it for cheaters too <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo--> just add shite at end with [<hack type>]

and yes i do talk on the mic alot of it takes you americans 5 - 10 times of saying the same thing over and over and over again before it sinks in -- ie -- PUT THE MINES ON THE FLOOR x 7 and they still put mines on walls.
