Some Really Wierd Stuff Going On.

<div class="IPBDescription">I have never hear of this before.</div> Ok, I have two very odd problems. One: I have only a single room, it is a hive room. I have a hive and a resource in it, along with 16 info_team_starts all set to team two, an info_join team set to team two, and a player_start_deathmatch. When I join the alien team, the hive is there, so is the resource except for one small glich, it is a marine resource tower! I have no idea how this happened. It is my understanding that the starting resource nozzles are determined by going out from the hives and comm chair and finding the closest one and using that one for the starting resource, if that is correct, this is very odd. If it is wrong, please inform me of how it really happens. Two: My map compiles just fine, no leaks or errors of any sort. I have an env_gamma in the map, with the gamma ramp set to 1.7 and I did this with no env_gamma also. I have the nslight.rad from chromangels site, and I'm using an ns texture light. My map runs full bright. I would post some pics of this odd stuff, but I dont think I can convert bmp to jpeg yet. I will look after I post this and I will post the picture if i can. Please help me with this!

    I think, and I may be wrong, but the game will set the Marine resouce first. Try putting another resouce in the room and you will have both a Marine and Alien resouce built on entering the map.

    Make sure you are running the rad when you compile. If you are, try setting a single light somewhere in your map and see if its till full bright.

    Ok here is the pic, i hope<img src='http://www.geocities.com/lord_azraiel/ns_osiris0000.JPG' border='0' alt='user posted image'>as you can see, the game has begun on the resource tower that is out of place, so i am not pullin anyones leg here. and the ceiling show the fullbrightness. sorry if the pic is too big or whatever wrongness it is, it has been a while since i have messed around with this stuff. help me figure out what is causing this please!
    Edit: well of course the stupid pic dont work. ill try what you said real fast here and lets hope for the best! and rad is being run.

    ok then. problems solved. woot! well the resource was as you said, first one to marines. i fixed that. the second was this, i had everything right, but i was playing a 5min old copy of when rad failed and it defaulted to fullbright. I then realized that my batch compiler didnt copy the bsp to the maps folder, hence not updating the fixes. i changed it so now it works, but more problems as the lighting sucks horribly <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo--> but its all in the fun of mapping, but at 4:30 on needs to go to sleep!
