This kinda makes me thankful my Geforce 4 burned out at the same time there was a sale on a Geforce FX 5200 for $100, funny how that worked out eh?

Now I just may need to upgrade my RAM, then the CPU later on.

    I think a 2600+ costs barely 100 bucks. (barton)

There isn't a 2600 barton, there's a thoroughbred 2600 and a barton 2500. Both are quite reasonable in price now and very cool.

funny.. I am nearly sure I have seen a 2600+ barton (on a website)

edit: I know there's an FSB333 2600+ though maybe they tried to pass it as a Barton

I was quite surprised how different the game looks in the new screens, the videos must have been worse than i thought.

Those screens look like they got resized substantially from a press kit. I doubt it would look that jaggy.
