Yeah this happens to me sparingly as lerk when I get instead of my favourite cara, regen.
If you were trying to fly away from death and the exact amount of bullets hit u, u die, but then again you revive instantly <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
NOW, you should be very very careful not to loose this Lerk. Zombie Lerks are cool and rare Alien species you know! <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
rarely your view is twisted werid when you life after death, too.
It's possible for the same server lag prediction that allows people to kill players that have dissapeared around corners to mean that you can still be shot after redeeming, isn't it?
Listening to: Open Up, by Dispatch

<span style='font-size:14pt;line-height:100%'>Get a better internet connection</span>
Yup, that way, you aren't stuck at a pathetic 56kilobits per second... that's 7 KB/sec, and it's pretty lossy...
Or, you can also...
<span style='font-size:14pt;line-height:100%'>Go to a different server</span>
find one without that 250+ ping...

Yes, they can still shoot you after you redeem, but keep in mind this is completely fair in terms of lag.
Say a guy has a ping of 500, that's .5 seconds, and he sees you get shot up. He then starts to shoot you some more, but you then disappear, and he sees a kill sprite.
Why this is fair:
Since he had a ping of 500, this means two things:
He saw you .5 seconds after a person with 0 ping would, and he sees you .5 seconds after a person with 0 ping saw you redeem.
So he saw you later, and got to shoot at you later; even though you actually move away from him as you move, it makes perfect sense in terms of fairness.
If the guy with that type of ping doesn't think it's fair, then he should find a different server, or, as I said above, get a better connection... internet is not that expensive...

That's not really a practical solution.
it's not that expensive...
And because money is the only thing that matters in the world.. nothing else should make it impractical
If you play some fun map like "ns_pillbox_final_version13856218gi1.5345d2c", you can try it out as fade also:
Half dead, blink to the wall infront of your hives. If you play with numbers you ll get a point where you fall down, make the death sound, but dont die cause of instant heal from hive <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
