    56K. Used to be really lossy, then I switched to a hardware modem. Mm. Sweet, smooth, milk-chocolatey connections now.

    No, really.

    It's a 56kb/s modem, but British Telecom did something evil to the phone line. And broadband is completely unavailable where I live. <!--emo&:)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'><!--endemo-->

    512/128 ADSL with a 3 gig per month download limit. You pay 13 cents per meg over the limit. I racked up $85 in surplus downloads last month :-X.

    They are Australian dollars btw. $1 Aus == ~$0.5 Americian

    Ditto. Only change the company name to something local, and put this:

    <b>26.4 kb/s</b>

    at the top. <!--emo&:p--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'><!--endemo-->

    Cable baby.  3000kbps.  Cox.net, w00t w00t.

    And that's not "56k/s" that is "56kbps".  There is a difference.  K/s is kiloBYTES per second.  Kbps is kiloBITS per second.  Divide by 8 to figure out your kiloBYTES per second.  So I get about 375k/s on downloads.

    3 gig limit! I have just got 576/288 ADSL and in the first 4 days of having it, I had used 2.5 gig's worth. Don't laugh; I don't know how I racked up so much either.

    Yup, me too! But more like 600/800... Not exactly fit for gaming since the upload speed is greater than the download. (Mainly thinking of AvP2 and its REALLY crappy netcode)
    No limits that I am aware of...

    And one more thing:

    depends on where I am.

    at my dad's house, it's high-bandwidth cable (limited, but no limit I'll ever hit.). At school/work, it's a T1 shared by way too many people. And at my mom's house, it's 56k.

    Unlimited 1Mb / 128kb DSL. I was with Sympatico until they put their limits in... 4 computers + server would not like limits very much. <!--emo&:)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'><!--endemo-->
