I've always wanted to try this server out, absolutely fantastic server, we had some great games.
Only thing is, people get kicked for players that have reserved slots, other than that, amazing server, the skill level is generally high and you don't get that "OMG COMM" that you get in most UK servers.

I've only ever had one bad game there, which was as aliens when marines spawncamped for ages. Thats the exception there though - very high skill and great teamplay. A fantastic server and community.
I play mostly on Roo's because i have a reserve slot. Btw - the 8 reserved slots on roobs #2 leaves the server with 6v6 with no reserved slots, which as we all know is the most balanced for 1.04 (5) With the increase in reserved slots and some regulars having spots this has actually made the server more availiable, as we are now using reserved slots instead of public ones.

Busted, lol. I found that topic <i>literally</i> 5 minutes before I posted.
Not that I care about whether people pimp their servers on official forums, if someone came to our forum to pimp their server I would on the other hand not approve. This is however CoFR telling CoFR to play a CoFR server on the CoFR forum, not quite the same.
Get it? Kind of like if Starcbucks would leave a Starbuck pamphlet on a table at Starbucks. Now if Joe's Coffey would leave a pamphlet at Starbucks that wouldn't be appreciated. If Joe's decide to leave pamphlets at official places, that isn't Starbucks problem.
I do play on uk servers as well due to the reserve slots on CoFR kicking me about 10 times a day, although i do have great games on the uk servers its just not the same. im sure if i had my own reserve slot, CoFR would be the only server i would play on.
Just take the time to play on CoFR for a while, then play on other servers and you will understand what i mean, the games are just so different, and its nice not having people type, omg, wft, ffs, or swearing on voice comms every time they get killed, like they do in the uk.

all the CoFR members that play NS have one, there are about 250 of them i think but not many of them play NS, theres about 85 people who have access to a reserved slot, only 19 can fit on at anyone time though.
That said, I do like Roob's as well.
I don't have anything against them, I just find it far more fun to play on servers which don't. Therefore when I find an auto-kick server I remove it from my server list.
What really did it for me was the day I was playing as the alien side’s gorge. I was our team’s only gorge, saved up 22 resources and was about to drop our first resource tower when I was auto-kicked.
It sucked for me and it sucked for the entire alien team.

lol today during a cruicial point in the game we were all attacking hive and the comm was giving us ammo and health. Then a reserved player came in and the comm got kicked heeheee. We then lost because no one got back in time to comm. It was funny though. I really like that server. Lots of good people.
