<div class="IPBDescription">sorry if doesnt belong here</div> Ok, this happened recently and I'm posting it on as many forums as I can find in hopes of someone answering and helping me
I'm not sure what caused this problem at all. I was downloading a few things, but I restarted after that. I was in the middle of downloading some windows uprade things ( from their site) . I had a few windows open. But for some reason, they all froze up for quite some time, so I restarted.
We have two "accounts" on one pc, and I went into mine. However, for some reason, I coulndt open my internet or my computer. The taskbar worked fine, and things on the taskbar opened fine too.
I restarted and went into my dad's account. There, however, the internet worked fine as did my computer. This is very strange, and I'm not sure how to fix this. I'm running an anti-virus program to see if it will help, but I'm not sure it will.
Are there any options to fix this besides reinstalling windows?
Oh, and I'm running Windows XP Home.
Another thing is that inside my computer the folders rearranged the group they're in, but I could easily put it back.

If you have an always on connection you can get XP to connect when the computer is started up.. and why not have it auto-connect.. it saves you some time.. and it will preserve it between users if you edit a registry key..
What is My Internet.. its not your internet its mine!
Maybe Internet Exploder?
