Are you using any custom models you downloaded? A lot of servers only let you use the default ones.

Um.. ya. That doesn't mean you don't have the model, it means you don't have the right version of a model, if you are using custom models you should probably revert to the normal ones.
Also, why did you install the 1.04 -*-SERVER--* side patch? <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->
Installing something that is only supposed to go on the servers, not the players computer is not going to fix anything.. in fact, it will probably only get worse...

Actually, the serverside patch helped me connect to some servers which all gave me the same errors...BTW: It worked, thanks guys!

Anyone know where I can get the original handgun models from? I dont have NS install, and I forgot to backup my models <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo--> I really dont feel like downloading NS again, which will take a couple days since Im on my 56k.

The 1.04 patch will fix the "shell.mdl" error message which sometimes appears.
    (even with default models)
