I turned at the sound, "i had swore i just herd somthing, it was like a laugh" I wispered to Lenden.
"You are hearing things again, Cmon were almost there." Lenden Said as we walked down the corridor. We were sent on a recon mission to all the ships rooms, there was sightings of Skulks in this sector. As we entered the ships mess hall the commander Shouted "GUYS THERE IS A CONTAIMENT PROBLEM NEAR YOU, WE HAVE MEN GOING DOWN EVERYWERE THEY NEED A FLAMER."
"Ok commander, Were on our way" I said. Just after that a small circle popped up on my HUD. "LETS MOVE IT, WE GOT SOLDIERS TO SAVE."I yelled, with that me and lenden were running towards the waypoint.
Masses of screams and other sounds we could not identify were getting louder as we got closer, we were about to round the corner when the comm Yelled
"STOP" We Halted right outside the door. "Dont say a word everyone in that room was killed, i need you to slowely go into the room for me." Not saying a word I readied my LMG. Unloading my current clip I put another one in its place, as i clicked it in there was a loud roar followed by someone screaming. I nodded to lenden signaling i was ready, he nodded back. Into the darkness we went.
Inside there was a moldy smell I couldnot place. We went on till i bumped into something soft and squishy, just as I bumped in this.....thing we heard GIANT footsteps. Looking just over the top I could make out the shape of a Giant Bullshaped Creature, I activated the portable keyboard on my wrist and typed "I may have sighted an Onos, need Backup". Then there was a crackle of the mic then we heard the com shouting to us with gunfire in the background
"we are under heavy attack from 10 skulks and taking many casualties, your on your own." I looked back at lenden, he wasnt very happy either.
At that very moment the onos moved closer to us, the giant sturcture near us started to make a Sqwelch sound. I gave lenden the hand signal, he gave me a signal that told me "get ready im gona give you some cover fire" then he pointed to the Vent. Nodding I got ready to make a break for it, he threw his old flame cannister away. It hit the Onos head on, with a giant roar the Onos looked our direction. It was time to run.
Lenden opened fire, the Flamethrower hitting its mark. The Onos Let out a Giant Roar and started to charge Lenden. I made a break for the vent, when I got in I signalled for lenden to come in. But he just looked at me, looked at the Onos and then yelled "DDDDDIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEE U SON OF A BIOTCH" Then the Onos hit him, he flew all the way across the room and hit the wall with a crack. "OOHHHH GOD MY ARM, MY ARMS BROKEN YOU ****ER" He whipped out his pistol and Iheard 2 bullets fire then nothing. Once I got through to the end of the vent i found myself in the room what was to be named today, before all this happend. And right in the middle of the room was what i have been looking for, The alien Hive!.
Looking around I sore a Gorge as we like to call it, weak in combat it has the ability to create what we have come to call Structures. The structures can help the aliens in many different ways, one of them is to Heal. We have come to call this structure a Defence Chamber, many others include attacking, fast moving between two spaces, and even giving them the ablilty to Cloak themselfs and not be seen.
Once the alien had gone i dropped down. I whisperd to the comm "I have found the hive I need help" but I got no reply. I decided im going to do this myself, avenge my brothers deaths. I creeped up to the hive, but as I did it let out a sort of green smoke. I fired, bullets were ripping it apart bits flying everywere green blood poured out of it. After I had shot 2 clips of ammo on it, I stoped fireing and sat on the ground. My ammo was depleted and the aliens would be here any minute, i had failed. Just as I got my pistol out and was about to fire at the hive a skulk jumped down right in front of me. It turned and looked at me.
His eyes didnt seem to have any will of there own. They were empty just a black sphere of nothingness, he cam right up to me and sniffed me. He let out a small chuckle opened his mouth, i sore my chance and fired into the mass of teeth and saliva. He fell like a sack of ****. I looked at my Hud, i had no clips and 3 bullets. I fired 2 into the hive, as i did it fell down of its arms and fell to pieces on the ground. I looked at the 5 Onoses and 4 Skulks above me, I smlied at them and Yelled "**** YOU" Pointed the Gun at my head and fired.
Ok hope I got the spelling right, and please dont flame its my 1st story. Also its based around v1.4 and some of 2.0. il create a background story later (gota think of a good one <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo--> ) AAAANNNNNYYYYway, happy reading.

other than that good story, the flamethrower gave me nice visual images <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
