i was wondering if anyone has tested or fixed or is planning to fix this

    what does cl_lw do?

cl_lw determines how weapons fire is controlled, for example with regard to sounds and animation. When set to 0 the client will perform as it used to prior to 1.1.0.0, the server returns/confirms weapon related sounds and animation fire information.

If you set this to 1 the clients weapon sound and animation will all happen client side as soon as you press fire. It should be noted that when set to 1 the animations and marks displayed are determined client side, as a result they may not be an accurate representation of where you are actually hitting.

It should be noted that the server always determines if you have hit your target or not, only weapon related sounds and animation are controlled by cl_lw.

If you ping under 50 try cl_lw 0, cl_lc 0 and cl_nopred 1 trust me once you get used to it, youll love it, thats the way halflife was initially played (there will be a very slight delay at 150 ping too)

Problem as stated above is that leap and blink dont work right.

My problem is that my animations aren't playing consistently. When I installed NS, I copied across my CS .cfg. This is a pretty wide ranging command set which sets just about variable there is going (no 'dodgy' ones mind - like modelview, interp etc...). However, CS tends to runs lower lag than NS so the .cfg may not be quite right for NS. I reckon this one may have slipped through. However, I still can use blink and leap ...

I think it's a reinstall for me and a brand new .cfg just for NS. Does anyone have any nice .cfgs going that I can, er, borrow ?
