No doubt a very nicely orchestrated publicity stunt on the behalf of Unfaith. Seeing as they are the only site with any record of this and they promise to reveal all in their newsletter (sign-up now!).
Must admit it had me fooled for a while.

this is a lame publicity stunt to bolster sales of an album which to be fair has a pretty sub-standard sound by todays standards.

Not some third party spoofing their page, and mtv.com, and having other people fall for it. That's not a publicity stunt, at least not for Metallica. :P

Notice there is an "e" in "I owe Dr.D 13 cents" so you would get an infinite loop there with the filter wouldn't you?

Would be an excellent test of how well this forum would fall to it's knees if it isn't coded correctly, however.
