<div class="IPBDescription">Making a good 2.0 beforehand</div> Because of the fact that 2.0 is going to change gameplay so much, I realize that some modifications that seperate the good servers from the bad ones know are going to become obsolete. Therefor, I'd like to put together a configuration or list of variables, mods, plugins etc, that would make for an excellent server. I'll start it out and hopefully with the help of playtesters and other NS gurus, we can get a server config point to jump from during the NS 2.0 rush.
Now I'm not looking at the change list and checking all these, so tell me if something should be changed.
Basic Server Config---
Any new variables people should know about?
Addons---
MetaMod
AdminMod
*Plugins not to have
-lerkleapexploit
-slay gorge plugin (extra noob gorge is harmless now)
-jet pack fix
-manual siege (personal bias)
-optimized map ent files (better in 2.0)
VAC---
change "secure 0" to "secure 1" in your liblist.gam file to enable.
HLTV---
If you wish to broadcast a game for clan matches, etc. Look into HLTV included in 2.0
Read the HLTV readmo file, edit the hltv.cfg file.
