Minimap Problem

Hi, Im new to the game and I have a problem with the mini map. I've seen screen shots where it is blue and black, well mine is white with dots running around aka aliens and marines. Other than that I cant see shat.
What can I do??
ALso Ive tried everything with gamma adjustments. Also I've reinstalled since then and same thing.
Again what should I do?

I have never heard of that problem. You might want to search in the Tech support forum or post the prob in there.

Hmm..Marine grunts mini-maps don't work. Commanders have blue (marines) and red (aliens) dots.

The only thing I can think of is that your using "Software Mode" instead of OpenGL.

negative. Im running 800x600 OpenGL. Its almost like its to bright but when I turn it down real far its still almost completly white but the game itself is black. (Brightess that is)

Are you talking about the commander mini-map or a regular marine's ?

maybe your monitor is screwed up? it hink hes talking about the comm map. i cant really offer much help ecxept to maybe look at your monitor options outside of half life and the monitor itself
