The console key is not only ~ but it is also `. So you'll need to press shift +` to bring down the console or whatever... I'm not really 100% sure of your layout on the keyboard...

I shall check it out later today if it is possible. However, I still find that it is an issue that is worthy of attention. If it is not possible to fix, then at least make a mention of the problem in the documentation so players got a small chance to figure out what to do before they come a-screaming for help on the phorums.

Bah, if you're still having problems, use the "restore defaults" thingy and don't map celerity to that key <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo--> .

If you run NS with the -console modifier(as is default on the shortcut I think?), there's a console button on the menu which you could use to rebind.

hmmm ....

I actualy just thougt of something (well 2 things):

1) Try this on other HL mods, see if you get the same effect

2) try edditing you config.cfg file
, add in the binds you want in there. Then when you get into game pull down the con (you might wana bind it to something like 6 b/c that key probalby aint in use and should work no matter what) and then check what those keys are bound to. I am willing to bet that HL simply dosn't know about those characters and thus can't handel them.
