<div class="IPBDescription">Effectiveness without FPS dependency</div> As I'm sure the beta testers are aware, leap and charge both work on "touches" where it counts a certain number of times you touch a marine during the attack and adds damage(4 and 16 respectively I think) each time. The amount of touches added varies based on FPS in 1.04, where someone with 100 FPS gets a lot of touches(and thus a lot of damage) from these moves. Then 2.0 removed that dependency, right?

The question is, how effective are these moves in damage now compared to, say, their 1.04 100 FPS counterparts? I assume they have a set number of touches per second now or something along those lines; does anyone know what it is, or have an approximation of what standard it was set to? In other words, now that they're the same for everyone, how powerful are they in comparison to what someone with 100 FPS could pull off in 1.04?

Will they become more useful for someone like me that gets at most 20 fps during a fight?

    Theoretically, yes...

I can't say where they were at 100fps, nor where they are now, but I would imagine they've probably been set at around their 72fps values. No clue if that's correct, but it's logical.
