<div class="IPBDescription">The marines built that thingo.</div>In the backstory the marines built a structure by just "Using" it for a moment. Does this mean the structures don't need to be built by the marines with welders anymore? Or is there a specialised building tool now? Or are turrents the only things that need to be built by the marines?
I would hope that everything needs to be built by the marines with a building tool of sorts. That was the best part of the NSTR2. Well.. maybe not the best part, that was "impulse 107" flying around with Bob or marine. Tehehe.
And also, what does a turrent factory do? In one of the tales from the frontlines the building of a turrent factory in a hive room was mentioned after the marine base had already been fortified with seige cannons.

All marine structures need to be 'used' my marines to build them after the commander has placed them.
Exactly what the turret factory does is subject to change. Initially it just allows you to build basic turrets, other features are being playtested.
Oh well, it wouldn't have been changed if it didn't turn out well in the playtests.
