Secret Room In Ns_caged?

I was wondering, on ns_caged in the freight elevator access (above the res that you need to weld to get to), theres a little room. Is it possible to get inside besides using something like noclip?

    lets put it this way... if you can't reach it normally then the mapper didn't expect you to get in there.... but noclip does work wonders

    oh, was just curious because I saw a switch and the room actually had a room-type shape.     u can use /stuck and sometimes it will bump you into that room, aliens can only get you out with spores and rines need a grenade launcher <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->

    I think the secret room you're reffering to is actually just an elevator. That room with the res node (that you need a welder to reach) is the freight elevator shaft. The thing at the top is the elevator. You can't get into it (even with noclip) as there is nothing behind there at all.

    I hope I got that right... lol

    I have never, I repeat, never seen a marine team that builds anything in space in a game they try to win. So it doesn't give an advantage, it's just fun for the marines, and the aliens too if the marines decide to build phases <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    ok with a friend try this, jump in the comm chair on hera and build a cc just outside the doors. Then build a observertory. Later you can build your arms lab, adv.armoury or whatever safely where the aliens cant kill it. You are now looking at a worst case situation stalemate. The aliens cannot win.

    Do it on a public server and YOU WILL BE BANNED, it's fun to try it once on a lan though.

    gonna have to take a look at this secret room.

    In map with port engine you can build a phase where there is that room that u cant get to its just there for asthetic effect - you know, the one next to the engine rt thru the broken door.

    Also, saying "/stuck" when ur rught up against a window or other thin surface might make u go thru it. Gave away a huge secret there <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    People build a phase, go in, build a tfac and sieges, and phase out, port permalocked. On most servers, this is bannable, and very very old. Kind of disappointing given that much of this thread has been fairly entertaining (Ollj's wonderful screenies!)

    Not really. When you realize /stuck moves you, that should be the first thing that comes to mind! Once, someone /stucked through a closed vent and crawled into our base unseen by turrets, it was very irritating. 'Nuff said.
