Everytime I play NS I get disconnected, normally about 3 times every hour, it isn't because of reserved slots or anything like that as I have the same problem with other half life mods <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo-->. It has only started 2 happen recently when I got wireless LAN (yes I have been told its rubbish) but other people who haven't got LAN at all have had the same problem and dunno wat 2 do about it <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo--> can anyone help ?

ok, I am putting my bets on said LAN
now what do you meen by:
<!--QuoteBegin--></span><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>QUOTE</b> </td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'><!--QuoteEBegin-->people who haven't got LAN at all have had the same problem <!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->
who are these people and why would it have anything to do with you? (are you in an apartment or a dorm or something?)
now, when you get disconed, do you get a CTD (crash to desktop), do you get booted to the conn?
either way what error msgs do you get (if any)?
what happens if you instantly try to reconect? (type retry in the conn)
do you get ping spikes?
what is your connection to the internet?
What is this wireless LAN?
did you set it up your self?
are you in the same room as the Hub? could you try that?
Can you check signal strength from the Hub to you? (I don't know, I have never ussed wireless)
assuming your router is half decent (you probably have a linksys) try just plugging directly into it via some good old Cat5.
ok, well try ideas and give me answers <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
what I would sugest doing is plugging said comp in ussing good old cat5
infact if you can simply set it up the way you had it before the wireless lan that would be great (basicly try and figgure out if it IS the wirelles or not <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->)
