<div class="IPBDescription">why doesnt it work?</div> for some reason every time i take a screenshot of a scene from a .avi or movie it makes the movie area a clear box in the screeny. i dont exactly know how to explain it but hopefully someone understands me and can tell me how to get this to work?

what he said
and maybe this will explain better
I use to have this problem, once I was able to screen cap any video now I have to do a little sequence kinda thing...
1. print screen
2. go to pbrush or photoshop and paste your blank screen
3. go back to movie window, print screen again
4. paste in PS or PBrush
If it doesn't work with that back and forth operation, then I don't know what to say... This does work for me in 98 though....

That doesnt always work however, sometimes you will paste it into paint then when you move the screen/window around or you highlight the pic to crop it or whatever, everything else will move around the ppic itself. Its very annoying. <!--emo&--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/mad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='mad.gif'><!--endemo-->

because the movie box is actually clear. if you have kazaa maximized then open paint aftet that and paste the screeny, you will see the movie box but if you move the image youll realize it really isnt part of the screeny

This one, although mentioned on another help topic on taking pics of movie files, is the most practical.
