Besides there being a regular working always-on minimap in the upper right as always, you also have your pop-up map now which can be toggled with a key. Max - you'rrrrrre the maaaan daaawwwggg...

wait a second , this will dramatically change gameplay for the marines...they will be able to locate their teammates and see if there is something wrong on the other side of the map.

This will make learning maps much much easier for newbies. Excellent addition.

That popup map makes learning the new maps so god damn much more easy that even I can find my way around.
