<div class="IPBDescription">post shots of your 1.04 specific ownages</div> Considering the Damocles sword the poor babblers have over their heads , I'm starting a contest of typical 1.04 screenshots (no JP HMG thanks) featuring babblers , bile bombs or lerk bite kills. Post evidence of your killing sprees with thoses oldschool weapons. As a gift to the future , and to explain the new NS recruits how we could play the mod for so long before version 2 was out... "yes , 1.04 used to be cool"

    I'm sure bilebomb is featured because in 2.0 it's impossible to kill with it. Therefore, a killing spree with bilebomb is phasing out........

    DO you ever see many folks using bile bomb anymore? Same does go for babblers. In recent patches (I suppose I mean 1.4 by this - 1.4 has been the longest-running patch to date), the game is in most cases over by the time 3 hives are built. because of this, most fades nowadays only see acid rocket.
    This severe disuse of hive 3 abilities has rendered them into more 'game over' abilities anyways. Take spores for example: spores now are nearly exclusively used in the marine spawn, as the Onos romp and play and the marines F4. One would never see them used for area denial; one would see them used for clean-up duty. Same with bilebomb. By the time three hives are up, there isn't enough fight left in the enemy to justify the trouble taken to use bilebomb, or babblers, or spores, or primal scream, or Xenocide. Lets hope this definitively is changed in 2.0 <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    This is our last chance to see the fade hurling bilebombs, or to see those oh-so-satisfying babbler kills.     dunno where you've been playing, but I know everywhere I go we go for 3 hives. xenocide is used frequently by me, as are spores, oni, and babblers. I don't like fade much, so bilebomb is out, but I ALWAYS see these abilities at least once a day, usually more.

    Now I really wish I had taken pictures the other day... On whatever map that is that has sewer/vent/gen (I always confuse the names with the maps, even if I know them inside out) me and a few other decided to do a babbler rush. I sooo should have taken a screenie of literally about 30 babblers filling the marine start. It was beautiful.

    My clan's website is getting a gallery and slideshow up and running, so far we only have the one pic, but more will be added in the coming days. Its brand brand new i havent made it public (admins only). But when the clan starts submitting stuff I will give you a link. Some submissions so far.
