The handle seems a little small, compared to the rest of the gun.

Its a big pistol. What do you expect?

btw, I'm gonna TRY and model that for the hell of it. Remember folks- I don't know how to model, animate, skinmesh, even fart on my own. So disregard the fact I'm doing this.

Make the handle a bit bigger or the rest a little smaller?
• Owen1Owen1 Join Date: 2003-04-13 Member: 15457Members
colours

p.s its a cross between the red-faction pistol and the 'unreal' automag, with a little bit of x-com TFTD guass pistol.

Guys, the reason the handle isn't big is because the clip isn't there.

hmm.. the size of the magazine...in combination of the size of the round..with the way it have to move to load it into the chamber...the round will stick out in front of the barell even when it got half of the lenght the magazine suggests.. theres really no way any receiving mechanism can take the round in the position where it left the magazine to the top of the gun.. the only one that would be able to do something like that would be the rotating steyr tmp mechanism. but it would need to much space like the configuration you sketched .. regular magazines like that can release the rounds only to the front...

I am aware that the magazine isn't in the handle, but at the moment it looks like it will break when you fire it.

...Looks Front Heavy and inacurate; but a very interesting design!

there is no firing mechanism. the mag is so big because the round is huge, fusion assisted, and therefor only requireing an electrical charge to set the bullet off. the charging bolt is kinda like a safety.

burn, hack off the back lump, take off the front bit and put the concept barrel on, and move the clip, bolt and casing release forward

WTH...? burns one is pretty plausible.... enough room for the chamber( ok..very short barell)
the loading mechanism and the cooking handle suggesting pretty well the way the bullet have to go inside of the gun. ok..his flashhider is more a flashproducer but i like the model...
burn just interpolated some design glitches...
(seriously...even with electrical fused ammo you cant fire it without feeding it into a chamber... your gunney would go to shiz when you try to fire it.. the cooking handle would be pretty useless too.. the only electrical system at the moment on the market, the metalstorm ,is using a electrical fusing system...and because its hard,or nearly impossible to load a round out of a magazine into a chamber without loosing a secure contact to the firing electrodes,or damaging them, they have build a barell system with the round stacked into it...one after another.. designing a whoopiee looking gun and throwing some technical specs together isnt gun designing... its called b-movie sci-fi prop designer...)

sheena... ns is in the future, so everything is possible. even whacky guns that look as if that theres no way in hell that they'll work.
