Config.cfg And Ns Install Question

Will you be able to use your 1.4 config.cfg in 2.0? It'll save me setting my keys up again.

Just for a bit of reassurance... Do you have to uninstall NS 1.04 before installing 2.0 or should I just rename the folder? Could I install over the top of 1.04 or will that be bad?

When you run the installer, it makes a copy of your existing NS config.cfg if it finds one, and uses that as a base. It then adds in the new commands for 2.0, and keeps your old settings. Similar to how the 1.0 installer handled things with your HL config.cfg.

I've said it a few times now, but here goes again: you do not have to backup or remove your previous copy of NS. The installer will detect it and offer to back it up for you. It will not install over your copy of NS - if you say 'i don't want to backup my old NS dir', the installer deletes it, then installs clean.
