Fixed? What the Fork are you talking about?
It is ment to be there.
This has nothing to do with strategy. This is starting a fight that A) you are bound to lose and B) has already been done, use the search.

Also, look at how skulks are built. They are very much built to leap around, gaining speed as the jump. People, of course are not.

In a closing statement, You are a moron.

Man, I dunno about you guys, but I can't even tell you how frequently I used skulk hoping in a 1.04 game of NS. As soon as I join the game, I hope there's not a guy camping our spawn. Then if I survive my first few seconds as a skulk, I hope the game's not locked into a 20 hour long stalemate. Then I hope we don't have 2 gorges. A quick press of the tab key relieves me of this fear. I hope we can get carapace or a hive soon... etc.

Anyway, I think skulk hoping is an important part of the NS experience, and I'd hate to see it go. Or if Flayra decides to remove skulk hoping, he should at least also shorten the marine wish-list, and maybe remove the "pray" component of "spray-and-pray" tactics. You know, just to keep it balanced.

Indeed the Skulk is supposed to bunnyhop. They gain speed but hey, they're meant to be fast - it's their job.

That you would want Skulk bunnyhopping to be removed only suggests that you are a Marine fanatic who thinks you don't already have enough ways to win a game instantly (though admittedly they are reduced in 2.0) and simply want to see the Aliens nerfed - currently, you die alot because of Skulk bunnyhopping, so because you don't like dying and thus think Skulk bunnyhopping is annoying, you think it should be removed.

Can someone close this thread? Please?

If you are being serious then .. ahem.. your cracked. First, bunny hopping was removed from marines because they could jump backwards, silently and exploit the crouch bug ALL AT THE SAME TIME. A leveling of the playing field is all that has happened. Jesus, they knocked the Skulks health back to original levels. (It was boosted much higher.) Skulks in particular should be a little faster then a marine in the first place.

"Whining about the aliens being overpowered" is a marine strategy, so this post should probably be moved to the Frontiersmen Strategy board.

HTH.

and lets give the skulks "bite recoil" while we're at it. I mean its JUST NOT FAIR that a skulk can chomp a heavily armored sardine, sorry marine, without him feeling some recoil from all that tin. oh oh and at lets make the skulks teeth break off with every bite on a HA marine, so they do 5 less damage each bite, and they can only get this back by returning to the hive and gestating for a few seconds. cool beans.

I personally dont like bunnyhopping much. You got celerity if you wanna be fast. Jumping around shouldnt decrease your speed though, and its that way how they fixed Marine Hopping, so maybe they cant fix this...
I would more like Skulks comming out from shadows and ceilings than stupid moving zick zack things...
Or should we all start scripting for bunny-hopping :/
